General
Information |
| The Heritage Museum houses an extensive collection
of Howard County's history, ranging from Native American life to the discovery of oil. Located at 510 Scurry in downtown Big Spring, part of the museum's permanent exhibitions are located in the historical home of Dora Roberts, a pioneer of Howard County. The museum's newest addition, built in 1991, more than doubled the museum's exhibition and collection storage space, and enabled the museum to offer more educational activities. The Heritage Museum is continuously working to enrich the cultural lives
of West Texans through its collections, permanent and special exhibits, and educational programming for children and adults
alike. |
